An experienced, hands-on team focused on distributed wind turbines. Our goal on every job is the same: keep your turbine running safely and productively, for as long as it's worth running.
AEM has serviced distributed wind for over a decade, with leadership experience going back 15+ years. We were founded by people who came up doing the technical work — and that's still where our depth lives.
Our specialty is privately owned turbines from 10 kW to 1 MW — systems that matter to their owners but don't get the service infrastructure utility-scale wind farms do. Parts get scarce, manufacturers go quiet, options dry up. That's the gap we fill.
That focus doesn't stop at the megawatt mark. We've performed contract work on utility-scale machines in the 2–3 MW class — inspections, component work, and project support. Distributed wind is our wheelhouse; megawatt-scale work is well within it.
Industry experience at the leadership level.
As a company servicing distributed wind.
Machines we've worked on — distributed wind is our specialty; we've also serviced utility-scale turbines.
US, Italy, Ireland, UK — active project work.
When a client calls about a problem, our job is to give an honest assessment — the option that delivers the best financial return and longevity for the turbine. The order matters.
Almost always the right answer when possible. We diagnose, source parts, and bring the turbine back online — and tell you honestly when a repair isn't worth it.
If repair doesn't pencil out, we swap in a newer, more efficient turbine on the same site and foundation. Better output, fresh service life.
When a turbine is done, we handle full removal — cranes, trucking, permits, salvage. Site left clean, recoverable value returned to you.
Two kinds of safety go into every job. Technician safety: every climb, rig, and electrical procedure planned, briefed, and crewed properly — no shortcuts on fall protection or lockout/tagout. Turbine safety: the same care extends to your asset — maintained, inspected, and repaired to OEM specifications, protecting the long-term reliability of your system.
We don't just clear the alarm and leave. We find the actual problem and the actual fix, so we're not back next month for the same thing.
Every job is documented — photos collected in the field, findings and work recorded in field service reports. That record helps you make informed decisions about your turbine, and a documented history is a safer turbine.
If a turbine isn't worth bringing back, we'll tell you. If a repower beats a repair, we'll tell you that too. Every recommendation is aimed at the best financial return and the longest service life for your turbine.
Send us the make, model, and what's going on. We'll come back with a straight assessment of the options.
